About the role
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and present credit and investment proposals to the Credit Committee for rental customers
- Analyze annual financial statements, commodity types, contracts, securities, and economic statistics
- Manage debtors, reporting, and legal debtors management
- Review and approve new and existing credit customers
- Update credit policies and procedures in line with market trends and legislation
- Set and monitor collection targets for credit controllers
- Conduct customer visits and meetings
- Manage cash collection and vetting processes
Requirements
- BCom Degree in Finance or a related field (Honours preferred)
- Four years of credit management experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and credit granting
- Knowledge of NCA and other relevant laws
- Proven track record of managing direct reports
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
