Credit Risk Associate

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a client portfolio and perform comprehensive credit analysis, including macro-overview, industry/sector, business, and financial projections.
• Recommend changes to credit ratings and amendments to facilities based on detailed financial modeling.
• Assist in negotiating credit terms alongside senior credit officers and lead the finalization of credit agreements and documentation.
• Support due diligence on capital market transactions for clients.
• Partner with North America-based Senior Credit Officers on new-to-bank client activities, including prospect evaluation and deal structuring.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders, including Bankers, Middle Office, and Credit Officers.
• Engage and review the work of junior team members to support deal execution.
• Ensure all governance, reporting, and data quality requirements are met for client families.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in corporate credit risk analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in client management.
• Post graduate degree.
• In-depth understanding of financial statements, including ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present analysis to global stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
