Credit Officer, Global Wealth & Investment Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and support strategies to identify credit opportunities and deliver customized lending solutions to wealth management clients.
• Act as an extension of the Credit Advisor to establish new credit relationships and expand existing GWIM credit relationships.
• Partner with Financial Advisors, Risk Management, and specialist organizations to drive balance and revenue growth.
• Negotiate with Underwriting and Risk to structure diverse loan products, including securities-based, commercial real estate, and luxury asset loans.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including ratio analysis, DSC analysis, and collateral evaluations.
• Manage existing loan portfolios to ensure compliance with financial covenants and resolve margin calls or debt service failures.

Requirements

• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, banking, or a related occupation.
• Strong expertise in loan structuring and financial analysis.
• Proven ability in relationship management and business development.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking and portfolio management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Economics, or a related field.
• Experience marketing and selling Private Wealth credit solutions.
• Background in negotiating complex loan structures such as Hedge Fund, Fine Art, or Yacht loans.
• Experience in profitability analysis and financial forecasting.
