Credit Corporates Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated portfolio of Japanese corporate credit customers and perform regular due diligence and scheduled reviews
• Analyze credit risk to determine accurate ratings and make recommendations to management
• Prepare detailed credit analysis and applications in accordance with US Credit Policy and operating manuals
• Perform cash flow modeling and assess risks associated with bank products such as loans, trade finance, forex, and derivatives
• Maintain direct communication with assigned customers and oversee covenant compliance
• Coordinate and communicate account information to internal auditors and external regulators
• Work with business lines to identify prospective transactions and advise relationship managers on credit risk issues and deal structuring
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in financial institutions, specifically in accounting or financial analysis
• MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA degree
• Strong skills in cash flow modeling and financial analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Japanese language proficiency
• Completion of formal credit training
