About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage own ledgers and ensure debts are paid within timely manner
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
- Ensure individual target and objectives are achieved
- Handle and resolve customer queries
- Preparation of the daily banking
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activities
- Attend regular meetings with business stakeholders to build and maintain interdepartmental rapport
- Ensure month end process deadlines are met
Requirements
- Good business acumen for problem solving and customer focus
- Highly numerical and analytical with strong attention to detail
- Confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to negotiate best outcomes for all parties
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience
- Professional finance qualification (AAT)
- Property related experience
