About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage own ledgers and ensure debts are paid within timely manner
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
  • Ensure individual target and objectives are achieved
  • Handle and resolve customer queries
  • Preparation of the daily banking
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activities
  • Attend regular meetings with business stakeholders to build and maintain interdepartmental rapport
  • Ensure month end process deadlines are met

Requirements

  • Good business acumen for problem solving and customer focus
  • Highly numerical and analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to negotiate best outcomes for all parties
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience
  • Professional finance qualification (AAT)
  • Property related experience
