About the role
Responsibilities
- Contact customers in arrears via telephone to challenge late or non-payment of rent
- Inform customers of contractual liabilities, legal procedures, and available options
- Work within best practice guidelines to achieve individual and departmental financial targets
- Respond to queries and mediate between parties to determine root causes and ensure best outcomes
- Build impactful relationships with internal and external customers, including property management and finance departments
- Operate within the LRG Company values framework
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Good business acumen for problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
- Professional finance qualification (AAT)
- Property industry experience
