Credit Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor clients across multiple platforms
• Ensure timely and effective collection of all outstanding debts and customer payments
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
• Investigate and resolve client discrepancies
• Control overdue clients through various platform tools
• Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
• Create trust relationships with debtors to avoid future issues
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
• Work with debt collections agencies and review progress reports
• Ensure adequate provision for doubtful debt
• Address customer complaints or billing issues delaying payment
• Provide clients with requested documentation

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven experience in credit control
• Experience in a growing tech company preferred
• Strong time management skills
• Experience working with targets and tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Ability to work as a team player within finance and the broader business
