Credit and Collections Analyst

Responsibilities

• Independently assess the financial status of medium-value customers using financial statements to recommend credit limits
• Manage medium credit limit customer accounts and resolve credit-related matters
• Negotiate initial payments with customers and sales personnel to facilitate purchases
• Conduct research and analysis on customer receivables account delinquencies
• Resolve payment disputes through skillful negotiation to ensure prompt collections
• Identify non-payment trends and collaborate with internal partners to rectify issues
• Develop effective account strategies to avert delinquencies for at-risk customers
• Lead moderate to high complexity projects and deliver professional reports to support strategic plans

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
• 10-15 years of work experience, preferably in credit, collections, or banking
• Proficiency in SQL programming language
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis and credit risk management
• Proven ability in data analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Professional in Credit and Collections (CPCC)
• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)
