Credit and Collections Analyst

Responsibilities

• Independently assess the financial status of medium-value customers using financial statements to provide credit limit recommendations
• Manage medium credit limit customer accounts and resolve complex credit-related matters
• Negotiate initial payments with customers and sales personnel to facilitate purchases beyond existing credit limits
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on customer receivables account delinquencies
• Resolve payment disputes on overdue accounts through skillful negotiation to ensure prompt payment
• Identify non-payment trends and collaborate with internal partners to implement corrective strategies
• Analyze at-risk customers and devise effective account strategies to prevent delinquencies
• Lead moderate to high complexity projects and deliver professional reports to support strategic plans

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
• 10-15 years of professional work experience, preferably in collection, credit, banking, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Programming Language)
• Advanced skills in Financial Statement Analysis and Credit Risk Management
• Deep knowledge of Accounting and Auditing principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)
• Certified Professional in Credit and Collections (CPCC)
