Credit and Collection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Proactively collect receivables in accordance with established credit terms
• Monitor assigned accounts through regular customer calls and correspondence
• Manage and drive the resolution of disputes by liaising with internal departments
• Interface with business-to-business customers and internal stakeholders
• Review new orders and accounts to assess creditworthiness and monitor credit limits
• Monitor customer payment performance to proactively reduce payment issues
• Support sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process
• Ensure compliance with credit processes, procedures, and internal controls

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Advanced proficiency in both English and French
• Experience in finance or receivables management is preferred
• Proven experience in customer service
• Experience working within a multicultural environment
• Strong understanding of basic financial terms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
