Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and undertake detailed due diligence of borrowers and industries
• Execute end-to-end annual renewals of limits and borrower ratings in collaboration with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers
• Support onshore teams with internal applications, including financial and liquidity analysis and cashflow projections
• Conduct market research, industry benchmarking, and peer analysis for portfolio clients
• Perform covenant checking to ensure compliance with financial and non-financial facility agreements
• Prepare periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio
• Handle waiver and amendment requests and support internal and external audits

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in corporate credit analysis within a bank, asset manager, or rating agency
• Post Graduate Degree in Finance or professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or FRM
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and industry analysis
• Proven experience in team management
• Excellent communication and report writing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience covering the India market
• Understanding of loan documentation, key credit protections, and various lending products
• Knowledge of market risk and ISDA documents
