Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit data, financial statements, and other sources to determine lending risk
• Conduct thorough risk assessments in accordance with internal guidelines
• Identify and analyze specific revenue and risk drivers for SMEs
• Adapt underwriting for diverse businesses ranging from local bakeries to specialized manufacturers
• Take responsibility for independent credit decisions
• Contribute to the improvement of systems, processes, and the competency matrix
• Collaborate with tech and analysis teams to enhance scorecards and decision-making speed
• Communicate effectively with the Account Management team to meet customer needs

Requirements

• Curiosity and proficiency in using AI tools to improve work efficiency and quality
• Strong understanding of business operations, including risk and revenue factors
• Ability to interpret financial statements to evaluate company performance
• Analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills for direct contact with applicants via phone and email
• Fluency in German and proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
