Credentialing Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform manual license and certification lookups through state boards and professional licensing bodies
• Verify information such as full name, date of birth, license number, and expiration dates
• Review assigned tickets and process them according to client-defined workflows
• Capture screenshots or documentation as evidence of verification
• Upload verification results and supporting documentation into client platforms
• Identify and escalate incomplete, inconsistent, or expired credential records
• Follow strict confidentiality and data security protocols when handling PII
• Maintain productivity and turnaround time expectations based on client SLAs

Requirements

• Previous experience in credentialing, license verification, or healthcare administration
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information across multiple sources
• Experience using online portals, databases, or public records for research
• Ability to follow detailed workflows and standard operating procedures
• Strong written English communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including data entry and system navigation
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare credentialing or U.S. state licensing boards
• Familiarity with HIPAA, ISO, or data privacy practices
• Experience with ticketing systems, CRM tools, or workflow platforms
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
