Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care
• Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prepare for surgeries
• Record detailed patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories
• Take and interpret radiographs, including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings
• Monitor general anesthesia, dress wounds, and assist with procedures like catheterization and ear flushes
• Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
• Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, nutrition, and more
• Collaborate with the team to create a positive work environment and assist with onboarding new employees
• Champion the company brand by promoting services like grooming, daycare, and retail offerings

Requirements

• Veterinary Technician licensure in this state
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building lasting relationships
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in using technology to improve veterinary care

Preferred Qualifications

• Fear Free certification
• HABRI certification
