Creative Video Producer

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit engaging video content for Dayton Athletics’ social media, video boards, website, and streaming platforms
• Focus on storytelling for the women’s basketball program, including recruiting and in-venue content
• Create motion graphics, hype videos, post-game highlights, and short-form social media content
• Collaborate with the External Team to execute creative video sponsorship opportunities
• Maintain a consistent presence at athletic practices, competitions, and events to capture student-athlete stories
• Properly track, archive, and file all video footage and projects
• Assist in live game productions for in-venue displays and ESPN+ broadcasts
• Serve as a resource and mentor to the Creative Video student staff

Requirements

• High school diploma
• An established online portfolio of completed video projects
• Experience working in the athletics industry or a comparable creative industry
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of professional production equipment, including lighting and sound
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, with travel as needed
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the university

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience producing in-arena/stadium videos such as intros and hype videos
• Experience capturing and producing college or professional sports video
• Sports camera operating experience
