Creative Director

Responsibilities

• Lead creative expression for Bullish and CoinDesk across marketing, events, editorial, web, and media surfaces.
• Steward and evolve brand systems to support new audiences, products, and AI-era workflows.
• Develop and direct brand motion language, establishing how brands move and behave across digital surfaces.
• Direct creative output at both project and program levels, guiding designers through briefing, ideation, and critique.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Content, and Executive leadership to solve business problems with aesthetic ambition.
• Shape strategy for custom imagery, including asset management and AI-generated visuals.
• Oversee group-level operations such as office branding, internal communications, and creative services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience leading brand and digital creative work at a leading studio, agency, or in-house team.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-bar visual ambition and a proven ability to build scalable brand systems.
• Mastery of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design workflows.
• Strong intuition for motion language, timing, and animation principles.
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to articulate creative rationale to executives.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams in NYC, Cayman, London, and Hong Kong.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for crypto, financial services, or media products.
• Experience leading brand refreshes or managing multi-brand portfolios.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design workflows, generative imagery, or prompt-based tooling.
• Familiarity with 3D tools and AI-powered design platforms such as Framer, Midjourney, or WebGL.
• Experience in editorial and research-driven content environments.
