Crawler Crane Operative

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and operate crane controls effectively
• Carry out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures
• Follow lifting plans as set out by the Appointed Person (AP) or Lifting Supervisor
• Perform regular inspections of the crane and carry out necessary maintenance of equipment

Requirements

• Blue CPCS - A62 Crawler Crane qualification
• Extensive experience operating Crawler Cranes
• Experience working on major tunnelling projects
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant, and equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination, and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
• In-date Safety Critical Medical (desirable)
