About the role
Responsibilities
- Manipulate and operate crane controls effectively
- Carry out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring all health and safety procedures are strictly followed
- Follow lifting plans as set out by the Appointed Person (AP) or Lifting Supervisor
- Perform regular inspections of the crane and carry out necessary maintenance of equipment
Requirements
- Blue CPCS - A62 Crawler Crane qualification
- Extensive experience operating Crawler Cranes
- Proven experience working on major tunnelling projects
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant, and equipment
- Understanding of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination, and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
- Ability to provide professional references
Preferred Qualifications
- In-date Safety Critical Medical certificate
