About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operates the hydraulic excavator
  • Discharges trucks of car carcasses and large pieces
  • Monitors product quality and notifies management of non-conforming products
  • Cuts non-ferrous materials on request
  • Loads magnet metal trucks for foundries
  • Performs material sorting
  • Ensures maintenance of equipment and work areas
  • Performs daily activity reports
  • Occasionally cuts large metal pieces with a torch

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • Knowledge of the vehicle under responsibility
  • Organized, responsible, and resourceful
  • Strong teamwork skills
