About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
- Lift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Conduct pre and post inspections of the crane and perform overall crane maintenance
- Operate heavy equipment including Shear and Loader as required
Requirements
- Crane Operator certification and/or experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
- Attention to detail for accurate positioning of metal materials
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures
- Familiarity with crane attachments like magnets or grapples
