About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials
- Use attachments such as magnets or grapples to transport materials
- Load and unload trucks and containers ensuring proper weight distribution
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Conduct pre and post inspections and perform basic crane maintenance
- Operate other heavy equipment such as shears or loaders as required
Requirements
- Crane Operator certification and/or experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a heavy industrial setting
- Strong attention to detail for accurate material positioning
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and material handling
- Familiarity with crane attachments like magnets or grapples
