About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
  • Lift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Conduct pre and post inspections of the crane and perform overall crane maintenance
  • Operate heavy equipment including Shear and Loader as required

Requirements

  • Crane Operator certification and/or experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
  • Attention to detail for accurate positioning of metal materials
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures
  • Familiarity with crane attachments like magnets or grapples
