About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials
  • Use attachments such as magnets or grapples to transport materials
  • Load and unload trucks and containers ensuring proper weight distribution
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Conduct pre and post inspections and perform basic crane maintenance
  • Operate other heavy equipment such as shears or loaders as required

Requirements

  • Crane Operator certification and/or experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a heavy industrial setting
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate material positioning
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and material handling
  • Familiarity with crane attachments like magnets or grapples
