Crane Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes on various locations in a safe and effective manner
• Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with load charts and manufacturer guidelines
• Inspect, clean, and perform operator-level maintenance on equipment
• Closely interact with crew members on job tasks and safety accountability
• Provide leadership and mentoring to crew members
• Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
• Follow safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures
• Complete necessary documentation and reporting
• Lead the JSA process with active participation from crew members

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license
• NCCCO Equipment Operator training and certificate
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75lbs
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year previous oilfield experience
• 1-year mobile hydraulic crane operating experience
• Winter weather driving experience in a CMV
• PEC - Safeland and/or OSHA 10 certification
• PEC - H2S Clear and/or H2S Awareness certification
