Craftsperson II

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical wiring for various lighting fixtures
• Perform repetitive small assembly operations using hands, adhesives, fasteners, and hand tools
• Test, calibrate, and fit parts and mechanisms to meet strict product specifications and tolerances
• Execute hand finishing, sandblasting, and other finishing activities required for basic fixtures
• Conduct in-line quality checks to ensure established standards are maintained
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes and resolve production issues
• Comply with all safety rules, processes, and standards within a manufacturing environment
• Move, push, pull, or lift materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
• Proven skills in lighting assembly and finishing techniques
• Proficiency in operating various hand tools
• Strong fine motor dexterity for frequent grasping and fine manipulation
• Ability to follow complex directions and demonstrate strong listening skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment
