Craftsman/Welder

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refinery equipment, including process units, tank farms, buildings, and yards
• Complete routine paperwork and work orders regarding the repair of process equipment
• Work a schedule of 4/10s (Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm)
• Perform mandatory overtime as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Proven qualification to weld carbon steel pipe using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (stick) processes
• Ability to qualify to MPC Welding Procedures per ASME Section IX requirements
• Ability to pass a written test and a hands-on skill demonstration test
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE and perform physical duties in an outdoor process facility
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, background checks, and drug/alcohol/medical screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• NCCCO fixed Cab Certification (must be obtained within 9 months of start date if not already held)
