About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality technical training across various craft disciplines to apprentices and experienced employees
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate training plans for internal and external customers
  • Support technical training needs analysis and product/technique development for operational teams
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of operational safety programmes
  • Ensure all training meets business requirements and complies with Health & Safety legislation
  • Monitor and review training methods to ensure quality, compliance, and achievement of learning objectives

Requirements

  • Completed craft apprenticeship or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Level II or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Proven experience as a recognised craftsperson (e.g., jointer, fitter, linesman)
  • Strong knowledge in one of the following disciplines: OHL, Jointing, Fitting, or Electrical
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to train diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of engineering standards, specifications, and Health & Safety legislation
