Craft Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and hire skilled craft professionals including welders, electricians, and crane operators
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to determine workforce planning needs and manpower requirements
• Develop and implement local and international recruiting strategies to build a talent pipeline
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Coach hiring managers on workforce supply, demand, and the use of ATS/CRM tools
• Negotiate and approve contracts with third-party labor vendors
• Conduct research on industry wages, housing, and fringe benefits to remain competitive
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, including EEOC and FLSA

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience recruiting craft professionals within the construction industry
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish)
• Proficiency with SuccessFactors ATS and LinkedIn
• Strong experience using Boolean search and various job boards (e.g., Dice, Careerbuilder)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with union and nonunion craft management practices
• Advanced knowledge of current and upcoming construction project trends
