CQA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of earthworks activities, including excavation, foundation preparation, fill placement, compaction, and riprap installation.
• Inspect liner installation and concrete works for spillways, outlet structures, and galleries to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify the quality of construction materials such as soil, aggregates, cement, steel, and geotextiles upon delivery.
• Witness and verify field and laboratory testing, including Proctor compaction, field density, permeability, and concrete strength tests.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and observations, and prepare regular QA/QC reports.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with Indonesian national standards (SNI), international standards (ASTM, ISO), and project-specific drawings.
• Promote and comply with site HSE system requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector or Civil Inspector on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• At least 1 year of specific experience in earth dam construction or significant earthworks projects.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, geotechnical principles, and compaction techniques.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is essential.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable.
