CPU Software Engineer staff

Responsibilities

• Leverage knowledge of CPU Architecture to develop and optimize software for high performance and low power
• Run benchmarks for applications and perform critical pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure performance and power goals are met
• Analyze software workloads to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Debug and address software performance issues
• Collaborate with CPU, DSP, and Compiler teams to identify solutions that meet CPU performance requirements
• Write detailed technical documentation and test descriptions for projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 9+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in C, C++, Assembly, and Scripting
• In-depth understanding of the software stack, including Linux Internals and device drivers
• Strong understanding of Computer Architecture and Operating System concepts
