CPU Power Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of ASICs and low power concepts for high-performance SoCs.
• Perform low power checks, timing analysis, and power analysis.
• Create design of experiments and conduct detailed comparison analysis to improve result quality.
• Collaborate closely with RTL design, physical design, low power, and automation teams to optimize performance and power.
• Tabulate and analyze metric results for performance comparison.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience (or equivalent experience via Master's/PhD).
• Extensive experience with Primetime/ptpx and PowerArtist.
• Strong knowledge of low power design and multiple power domain understanding (UPF/CPF).
• Proficiency in Perl or Tcl scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in ASIC development and debugging.
• Understanding of CPU micro-architecture, critical paths, and high-speed CPU implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Synthesis tools (DCT/DCG or RC/RCP).
• Understanding of Place and Route (PnR) tools.
• Experience with Signoff STA.
