CPO I

Responsibilities

• Weigh, measure, prepare, and mix materials to create stock solutions and products according to work instructions and batch procedures.
• Operate large-scale equipment, including reactors, while performing process monitoring and batch adjustments.
• Conduct in-process testing (e.g., pH, conductivity) and perform basic troubleshooting or root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals and waste in compliance with safety protocols.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including full-face supplied air respirators, in a controlled GMP environment.
• Maintain accurate production records, perform SAP transactions (goods issue/receipt, inventory transfers), and label all prepared solutions.
• Decontaminate and prepare equipment for cleaning or maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 0-3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid math skills with the ability to convert units of measure and calculate ratios.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to speak, read, and write using English business communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
• Previous experience using ERP systems, specifically SAP.
