CP Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and oversee the effective implementation of the IB Career Related Programme (CP)
• Support and guide teachers in the planning and delivery of high-quality, inquiry-based, concept-driven learning
• Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment within the CP and across the wider IB continuum
• Coordinate and quality-assure CP assessment practices, including standardisation, moderation, and reporting
• Promote inclusive teaching and learning practices to meet the needs of a diverse international student body
• Lead the use of assessment data to monitor student progress and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee key CP components including Approaches to Learning (ATL), Service as Action, and the CP Personal Project
• Plan and facilitate professional learning to build staff capacity in CP teaching and assessment
• Engage with parents and the school community to communicate the CP philosophy and curriculum structure

Requirements

• Recognised professional teaching qualification at degree level (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE)
• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience, ideally within an IB CP environment
• Demonstrable experience in curriculum coordination, middle leadership, or programme-level responsibility
• Strong understanding of IB CP philosophy, frameworks, and assessment practices
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead collaboratively and build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an IB continuum school (PYP, MYP, and DP)
• Proven track record of driving consistency and improvement across an academic programme
