Court Part Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Capture and enter information on all legal proceedings in criminal, supreme and the arraignment court parts
• Utilize the Court Event Entry Program (CEE) and other office programs to update warrants, adjournment dates, pleas, and sentencing information
• Complete legal documents including order to produce forms, surety forms, waiver of appeals, and orders of protection
• Assist standing ADAs with issues in criminal, supreme and arraignment court parts
• Assist with inquiries from defense attorneys, arresting officers, and court staff
• Prepare and maintain routine court related reports
• Review and analyze case information for accuracy against office standards
• Audit records and cases for accuracy according to established guidelines
• Perform clerical and related tasks as directed

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or related activities
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, including potential holidays and overtime on short notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, CIS, and other City oriented systems
• Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Internet search strategies and techniques
