About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and engaging e-Courseware content using rapid authoring tools for multiple platforms, including mobile and tablet.
- Ensure all training content is learner-centric, inclusive, and compliant with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
- Manage the end-to-end training design process, including the creation, review, and maintenance of training courses.
- Support the maintenance of Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems.
- Build strong relationships with subject matter experts to drive training transformation.
- Conduct maintenance and validation of training documentation and evaluate Training Needs Analyses.
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external validations to ensure training remains up-to-date and operationally relevant.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating e-learning content and technology-based learning solutions.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.
- Ability to prepare and complete monthly data reports.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and deliver projects on time.
- A passion for training transformation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the ADDIE model and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
- Experience in Instructional Design or Training Design.
- Familiarity with UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) procedures and policies.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and Quality Assurance processes.
- Experience with professional web authoring or rapid authoring software.
- Relevant higher education qualification (FD, HND, or Degree).
