Courseware Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and engaging e-Courseware content using rapid authoring tools for multiple platforms, including mobile and tablet.
• Ensure all training content is learner-centric, inclusive, and compliant with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Manage the end-to-end training design process, including the creation, review, and maintenance of training courses.
• Support the maintenance of Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems.
• Build strong relationships with subject matter experts to drive training transformation.
• Conduct maintenance and validation of training documentation and evaluate Training Needs Analyses.
• Incorporate feedback from internal and external validations to ensure training remains up-to-date and operationally relevant.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating e-learning content and technology-based learning solutions.
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.
• Ability to prepare and complete monthly data reports.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and deliver projects on time.
• A passion for training transformation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the ADDIE model and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Experience in Instructional Design or Training Design.
• Familiarity with UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) procedures and policies.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and Quality Assurance processes.
• Experience with professional web authoring or rapid authoring software.
• Relevant higher education qualification (FD, HND, or Degree).
