About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical oversight of commercial activities to drive revenue and volume growth within the assigned region.
  • Manage and direct the sales team to achieve company objectives, including setting KPIs and commission targets.
  • Analyze the sales pipeline using CRM tools to determine growth potential and optimize sales processes.
  • Collaborate with the Country Head of Sales and Regional Vice President to align on company goals and initiatives.
  • Oversee personnel management, including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring of staff.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key clients and represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to support team development and performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Management capacity with proven leadership ability.
  • Direct experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven expertise in using CRM software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • History of building, managing, and scaling sales teams to achieve revenue growth and operational KPIs.
  • In-depth understanding of regional and global freight forwarding markets and trade lane strategies.
