Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the business in Mexico, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Build and implement local business strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Identify, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with local partners to optimize service offerings
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local team
• Ensure outstanding customer experience and build long-term client relationships
• Own and execute the commercial strategy, overseeing the local sales organization
• Analyze local market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities
• Uphold legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across all operations

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
• Minimum of 7 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in growing freight forwarding business in Mexico
• Strong relationships with local buyers of freight forwarding services
• Deep understanding of the Mexican logistics landscape and government regulations
• Experience managing relationships with local partners, airlines, and shipping lines
• Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Hands-on experience managing complex supply chain operations
