Country Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Indonesia country strategy, including market priorities, product focus, and go-to-market approach.
• Own the Indonesia P&L, driving commercial outcomes such as revenue, Gross Profit, and Total Payment Volume.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, banks, fintechs, and local ecosystem partners.
• Partner with internal Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Build and scale a high-performing local team with a high-ownership culture.
• Support and coach local sales and partnerships teams to capture enterprise and SME opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of the Indonesian financial services and payments ecosystem.
• Proven track record in commercial leadership, including P&L ownership and driving revenue growth.
• Experience in regulatory engagement and managing licensing or policy-related matters in Indonesia.
• Strong leadership experience with direct reports and managing high-performing teams.
• Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Country Manager, General Manager, or market launch leader.
• Strong background in sales, business development, and strategic partnerships.
