Country Head

Responsibilities

• Lead the local team in Thailand, overseeing strategy, market development, and client acquisition
• Manage relationships with distributed music clients, including frontline and high-volume catalog labels
• Attract, sign, and retain new talent to grow the direct-to-artist business
• Oversee high-level retail relationships and ensure best practices across all retail outlets
• Liaise and coordinate between local SME departments and The Orchard HQ
• Drive product adoption of company tools and services across the client base
• Act as a local industry representative at events and conferences
• Assist with content acquisition and business development
• Coordinate with internal departments including finance, marketing, legal, and management

Requirements

• 10+ years of music industry experience
• Strong understanding of the local and international music industry and digital landscape
• Experience within a label or distribution company managing catalogues and frontline releases
• Expertise using content management systems and digital metadata
• Excellent knowledge of the digital space, including music retail, analytics, and social media
• Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Fluency in both English and Thai
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and ability to travel internationally
