Country Director, Financial Services - Global Payment (PH)

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) vision, strategy, and product roadmap for the Philippines market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, finance, engineering, and marketing to drive product success.
• Ensure all BNPL products adhere to local regulatory standards and integrate seamlessly into the existing payment platform.
• Analyze market trends and customer behavior in the Philippines and Southeast Asia to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and industry best practices regarding consumer lending solutions.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Extensive experience and established connections with Financial Institutions and Regulators in the Philippines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams and external parties.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• High level of ownership and accountability for delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in lending (credit card, consumer loan, or BNPL), payments, FinTech, or eCommerce.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
