Country Director - China

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial operations in China, including marketing, promotional activities, and partner management.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with Health Authorities, reimbursement bodies, and key medical associations.
• Monitor macro health policy changes and lead strategic actions to secure and grow regional business.
• Oversee pricing strategies, budget development, and financial forecasting for the China market.
• Manage the strategic identification and development of local marketing and distribution partners.
• Lead and develop local employees, ensuring talent engagement and effective succession planning.
• Ensure all operations adhere to local regulatory requirements and corporate compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Business or Life Sciences.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Minimum of 10 years of management experience within the pharmaceutical market.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing and sales operations with a proven track record of advancing responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of local Chinese regulations, reimbursement policies, and pricing landscapes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within a cross-continental, matrixed organization.
