About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide all-source analytical support to the DIA's Defense Combating Terrorism Office to counter regional and transnational terrorism threats.
  • Conduct research and analysis of intelligence to produce finished products for senior U.S. defense and government officials.
  • Produce in-depth strategic and operational analysis of transnational terrorist networks, including their capabilities, tactics, and intentions.
  • Utilize SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT data sets to identify key actors and terrorist networks.
  • Support DoD field collectors and assist in the production of integrated intelligence and targeting products.
  • Respond to customer requests for terrorism information through both oral briefings and written products.
  • Participate in high-level meetings, conferences, and working groups regarding transnational terrorism issues.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in counterterrorism or insurgency analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of intelligence collection disciplines including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant intelligence experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in security studies, intelligence studies, or a related field.
  • Previous counterterrorism experience within a national-level intelligence agency.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ODNI Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), specifically ICD 203, 206, and 208.
  • Proficiency in using research databases such as the Global Terrorism Database.
