About the role
Responsibilities
- Authorize trades for counterparties across SFT, OTC, and Prime Brokerage products based on pre-trade stress analysis and risk appetite
- Improve credit risk governance and monitoring practices across the CCR portfolio
- Enhance the CCR limit framework and risk management systems to support new business products and initiatives
- Develop strong working relationships with traders, business analysts, and technology departments
- Drive assigned risk and regulatory projects independently
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a capital markets environment, specifically in credit risk, counterparty risk, collateral management, or trading
- Graduate degree in a quantitative science, physics, mathematics, or quantitative finance
- Deep knowledge of derivative products including FX, Interest Rates, and Equities
- Proficiency with exposure models such as PFE and VaR
- Strong programming skills in SQL and Python
- Excellent critical thinking and technical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a broad spectrum of fixed income products and financial modeling
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, RiskMetrics, or other statistics software
- Ability to provide prototype implementations and work closely with IT groups
