About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence requirements.
- Monitor and analyze strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments within assigned Areas of Operational Responsibility.
- Assess future political-military developments, military capabilities, doctrine, and weapons acquisitions.
- Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments to support senior leadership and Commanders.
- Connect disparate information from multiple sources to form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security threats.
- Validate intelligence by assessing the believability and reliability of information from various sources.
- Apply validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives and structure analysis based on emerging trends.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of job-related experience (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to communicate complex, indirect, or incomplete information effectively.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating with other Intelligence Community members.
- Mastery of Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and tools.
- Proficiency with computer systems and integrated software application programs.
