Counter/Inside Sales

Responsibilities

• Answer sales calls and assist customers in-store by taking orders and answering questions
• Process and monitor will calls, special orders, backorders, fabrication orders, truck orders, drop ships, and quotes
• Maintain store appearance by organizing, securing, and restocking showroom displays
• Maintain high product knowledge regarding specifications, suitability, pricing, and availability
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of related experience
• Ability to learn computer software and input orders into sales databases
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 90lbs
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and proportions
• Knowledge of construction goods, equipment, and products
• Excellent verbal communication skills
