Counter Server

Responsibilities

• Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
• Perform food preparation and service tasks including direct guest interaction
• Maintain a safe and stocked dining space by cleaning tables and stocking supplies
• Participate in safe food handling and service according to health codes
• Provide responsible alcohol service to guests
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including kitchen and dining areas
• Safely use knives and operate various kitchen equipment
• Report equipment or food product issues to management
• Assist with deliveries and maintaining exterior spaces

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level for certain locations

Preferred Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen
• TIPS Certification
• Spanish language skills
