About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with parts questions and needs in person or via telephone
- Provide technical advice, troubleshoot, and help solve customer problems regarding product applications
- Operate cash registers, computer systems, and paper cataloging systems
- Process daily paperwork, forms, and customer stock orders
- Communicate product features, benefits, warranty policies, and current sales promotions
- Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, helpful attitude
- Support outside sales representatives and perform other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Availability to work on weekends
- Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in Heavy Duty parts
