Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide product advice to customers to help them find the best solutions for their needs
• Process customer orders using the order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and restock merchandise
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• 2-5 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Basic math skills for accurate cash accounting
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to learn new products and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Waterworks or Construction industry
• Prior warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing or construction products
