Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide product advice to customers to help meet their specific project needs
• Process customer orders using the internal order management system
• Operate cash registers and adhere to established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and stock levels
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and using proper PPE
• Perform driver duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
• Basic math skills for accurate cash accounting
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, or industrial products
