Counter Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their specific needs
• Process customer orders using the internal order management system
• Operate cash registers and adhere to established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and restock merchandise in respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Basic math skills for accurate cash accounting
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to learn new products and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Waterworks or the construction industry
• Prior warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing or waterworks products
